Scholae pro magistris: refresher courses for teachers
Agamus bonum patrem familias: faciamus ampliora quae accepimus.
Maior ista hereditas a me ad posteros transeat!
Seneca, Epistulae, VII, 64, 7.
What are they?
The scholae pro magistris (“lessons for teachers”) are refreshing courses for Latin and Greek teachers who want to improve their teaching abilities and gain confidence with the inductive-contextual method, also known as the nature method.
How do lessons work?
Upon request, we’ll send you one of our teachers (all of our teachers have a more than ten-year experience in teaching the classical languages). Depending on the available time, he’ll explain the historical and theoretical foundations of the inductive-contextual method, and give practical suggestions for teachers to use in the classroom.
We also offer online courses, but in our opinion they’re less effective (we use videoconference programs such as Skype or Google Hangouts). At any rate, we’re open to any suggestion.
